Al-Kaabi calls on Chinese companies to contribute to the reconstruction of liberated cities

The First Deputy Speaker Mr. Hassan Karim Al Kaabi met on April 14, 2019 with the delegation of the Foreign Relations Department of the CPC Central Committee, headed by Mr. Li Jun, Deputy Minister of the Department, accompanied by Chinese Ambassador to Baghdad Chen Weicheng.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. Al-Kaabi called for increasing China’s support for Iraq in the reconstruction of infrastructure of the liberated areas and the expansion of investment fields between the two countries.
On his part, Mr. Chen Weicheng said that China is interested in strengthening relations with all countries at various levels. “Our country’s duty is to support Iraq and contribute to the reconstruction of liberated cities and benefit from the expertise in overcoming many of the problems that China has already suffered, such as poverty , development and service problems”, Mr. Weicheng added.
