Al-Kaabi urges drafting a draft law to block access to online video games in the country
The First Deputy Speaker Hassan Kareem Al Kaabi urged on Thursday, April 4, 2019, the parliamentary committees of Legal Affairs, Culture, Services and Security and Defense and in cooperation with Commission on Information and Communications to conduct a research to evaluate the disadvantages of the video games for the society and to adopt a draft law to block access to some online video games in the country.
“Part of the electronic games have a great effect on our youth,” Kaabi said. He also argued that people waste a lot of time on these games, which affects their education and cause isolation to the community.
